If there is one thing that was reinforced in our XMeeting review it’s that anyone who claims they know an easy method for meeting the perfect woman is lying. Finding love isn’t like a movie where people meet in a park or bar and immediately hit it off. Love at first sight rarely happens.
If you want a fun, rewarding, lasting relationship, you have to put in the work to meet someone. Even hookups require effort. There are no shortcuts, but there are tools that can make it a LOT easier for you.
Got a bad feeling about this app? So many new hookup apps and sites are popping up that it’s hard to tell which ones are any good. If you want a surefire hookup app that’s full of active users that are looking for a good time, here are your top options:
Site | Our Experience | Our Rating | Free Trial Link |
---|---|---|---|
Best Hookup Site Right Now | Experience Highlights
| 9.5 | Try AFF For Free |
Great If You're Handsome | Tinder Highlights
| 8 | Try Tinder |

In order to put together an Xmeeting.com review you can trust this was our review process:
We spent several weeks trying out both the PAID and FREE version of xmeeting.com to see if we could meet any single women. We have had a lot of success on other sites and apps so we know how to make it work.
We sent out dozens and dozens of messages to a wide variety of women to see what kind of response rates we would get and how easy it would be to set up dates. We messaged a lot of attractive women as well as average-looking women to make sure we got the full experience.
Any responses we got we tried to meet in person and any messages we received were returned. We left no stone unturned! Most reviews out there don’t go through nearly this much effort and don’t look at the paid version of a site. Don’t trust them unless they do!
After using and reviewing over a hundred different dating sites to put together our rankings of the best hookup sites out there.
All online dating services are not created equal. In fact, some of them are total garbage. So, how can you tell the difference between a real treasure and fool’s gold? Well, we’re here to help.
We have reviewed tons of dating sites: the good, the bad, and the ugly. We pick them apart piece by piece to determine which ones are worth your time and, potentially, money. After doing a full review of Xmeeting.com we can say that there really wasn’t a lot to like after using it for a few weeks. When you start comparing it to legit sites for meeting women like AFF it gets even worse.
A few of the main issues we had were:
We spent a lot of time going through profiles and messaging women. We also know a lot of tricks for being able to tell if profiles are real or setup by someone else to appear real.
In this case, it seems like most or all of the profiles for attractive women are fake. If you can’t even trust the pictures you’re seeing you’re going to have a really bad time on a site.
Within minutes of signing up for the site, before we even had a chance to add a photo or fill out the profile we were getting messages from attractive women. Sounds great but it isn’t.
There is absolutely no way that attractive women are messaging blank profiles with suggestive topics. It just doesn’t happen. The only way this could happen is if it’s a fake message automatically programmed for new members to get them to sign up for a paid membership.
With legit options out there that are proven to work there is no reason to give Xmeeting.com another look. Do yourself a favor and move on fast!
Most dating sites will try to lure you in right away with a flashy, enticing landing page. They’ll fill their pages with beautiful people who look like they’re in love. Smart sites have sleek logos that evoke romance and they’ll sell their services with a variety of guarantees and testimonials. Well, XMeeting.com is not most dating sites, and not in a good way.
When the website loads, all you’re shown is a preview of a few members’ profile pictures and a small sign-up box. There are no testimonials or promises of true love. In fact, the page doesn’t even have a logo; “XMeeting” is boringly spelled out in nondescript font. It looks like a government website, or some sad, old personals ad page.
It’s not a good first impression, to say the least. At this point, you are much better off just going with the highly rated hookup apps in our annual review.
Let’s be straight here, we were not at all encouraged by Xmeeting.com during our review. There are simply too many red flags for us to recommend them to anyone. If you are serious about finding a little casual sex where you live we think you are most likely going to get the best results from AFF.
We have a few important reasons for this after testing and ranking all the top hookup apps out there. First, there really are only a couple of site and apps that have a very large number of active users, Tinder and AFF. Most guys under 30 have given Tinder a shot and for most, it wasn’t particularly good.
The reason Tinder falls short is that it really isn’t about hooking up any more. Now it’s almost a standard dating app and there are way too many girls who are just using it for attention (and thus wasting our time).
What we really like about AFF is that it is still very focused on hooking up. All the women on the site are there for that reason and not just to collect “matches” in order to feel better about themselves.
If you are actually looking to hook up and not just going through the motions give AFF’s free trial a look to see the women you have a shot with.
For a little more context, here is how the top three hookup apps compare:
Site | Our Experience | Our Rating | Free Trial Link |
---|---|---|---|
Best Hookup Site Right Now | Experience Highlights
| 9.5 | Try AFF For Free |
Great If You're Handsome | Tinder Highlights
| 8 | Try Tinder |
2nd Best For Most Guys | Experience Highlights
| 8 | Try Passion |
XMeeting didn’t get any more impressive once I logged in. I created a simple account and began to browse. One of the first things I noticed was there were a ton of profile pictures that were blocked off. It said they can’t show the image because “Safe Mode” was on. Well, what choice did I have but to turn it off.
All of a sudden, XMeeting.com had transformed into an adult site, and one with a terrible layout. So many of the profiles had totally NSFW photos. There were women in revealing positions, though not enticingly so. It was more trashy than alluring. I can’t imagine even the most desperate person would be interested.
When a site has a ton of explicit content, it’s a sign their dating services might be sub-par. Real dating sites – even hookup apps – don’t need to lure you in with seductive photos. They can use their members personalities and normal pictures to impress you. I had my doubts that any of these profiles were real, so I did some digging. One profile included this self-description:
“I’m a romantic, kind, sociable, friendly, enthusiastic, creative, sensual, and tender girl. At the same time I like to laugh, to have fun, and to dance. I value family and friends. Family is the most important part in our life. It is the sense of it. I love children. If I meet my beloved man I’ll be a devoted, sincere, patient, and careful wife.”
There were two pretty glaring issues with the text. First, it sounded like someone who barely speaks English. That’s not inherently an issue (I have no problem dating someone from another culture), but the profile was presenting the woman as a native US resident. The bigger issue, though, was that the “devoted wife” description didn’t really seem to align with the sexually explicit profile picture.
Doing a Google reverse image search on a few profiles pictures, it didn’t take me long to find one of the pictures on other sites, including one called “MeetWives.” That was a definite bad sign. When a profile picture shows up on other “dating” sites, it almost always means the picture was stolen from somewhere else.
Fake profile pictures are a problem, of course, but it’s worse when the whole profile is fake. I found many such cases on XMeeting. I looked into the site’s terms and conditions and discovered this text:
“In order to enhance your amusement experience, to stimulate you and others to use our Services more extensively, and to generally sprinkle some sparkle and excitement into the Services of XMEETING.COM, we may post fictitious profiles, generate or respond to communications by means of automated programs or scripts.”
That’s a big problem. The good dating sites don’t use fake profiles for any reason; only the scam ones do. Fake profiles that are too good to be true are used to lure people into paid memberships.
XMeeting advertises itself as a free site, but it’s not. Every time I tried to send a message or do pretty much anything, I was taken to a membership upgrade page. They had a number of membership options, none of them cheap.
Sometimes legitimate dating sites cost money, often they don’t. Regardless, there is almost always a free option that lets you take advantage of basic functions like seeing a member’s profile and sending messages. Only the scam sites don’t let you do basic communication without a paid membership.
Seriously, XMeeting is one of the spammiest sites I’ve ever reviewed. Their main menu included listings for “live cams.” When I clicked on a profile, it popped up in another window. The original window then took me to an advertisement for erectile dysfunction. When I hit “back”, it took me to more advertisements rather than the original page.
One of the ads had the gall to warn me, “Clean your PC after visiting adult websites.” I suppose that means, by XMeeting’s own admission, they are running an adult website.
Third-party ads are always a bad sign on a dating site. You want the site to be focused on getting you a date, not advertising other products to you. Often times, these sites will freely give your personal information to third parties. As a rule, the more popups I encounter, the less time I want to spend there.
It’s not just the third-party advertisers you have to worry about. XMeeting is also after your personal data and content. They said as much in their fine print:
“We may use any and all of this Content, including but not limited to text and photographs (regardless of whom they may depict) of any nature for any purpose, including, but not limited to their commercial public use in websites or in any other media we or any associates or contractors or licensees of ours may operate and in any other media of any nature whatsoever, published or operated by anyone.”
That is a pretty broad license that you are giving them just by signing up.
Imagine seeing your personal photographs on an advertisement for some trashy dating site. You could see your personal messages displayed in their testimonials sections without your consent. It’s all possible according to XMeeting.com’s terms and conditions.
The small print admitted the site was “intended and operated only for purposes of entertainment and fun and for no other purpose or purposes.” That’s pretty clear. XMeeting isn’t a dating site, it’s just for “fun.” Don’t sign up expecting to actually meet women.
Honestly, based on what I saw, I don’t think XMeeting can even deliver on the fun part.
A little bit further down in their fine print they also said, “You are most sincerely advised not to disclose anything about yourself in our Services – even in messages – that you don’t want to be known publicly – and that you should not use our Services at all unless you have a very thick skin.” Well, that’s ominous.
I’m not going to beat around the bush: stay away from XMeeting.com. They have all of the hallmarks of a fake dating site. Sites like XMeeting exist to take your money, time, and personal information. They basically admit as much in their own fine print.
I hope that our XMeeting review has effectively warned you away from their site. There are too many good sites out there to waste your time with these guys.

In the sense that XMeeting.com actually exists as a site, yes, it’s real. However, it’s an incredibly ineffective dating site.
We found no conclusive proof that any of the women we encountered were who they claimed to be. The XMeeting terms and conditions also state that “we may post fictitious profiles, generate or respond to communications by means of automated programs or scripts.”
X Meeting admits that they “post fictitious profiles, generate or respond to communications by means of automated programs or scripts.”
In our experience, XMeeting.com doesn’t strike us as a safe site to use. Add to that the fact that nearly every feature is available only to paying users. It’s safe to say that you shouldn’t give the site your credit card details.
