2021 Sex Messenger Review - HOLD FOR PUBLISHING!!!

SexMessenger.com Review

A new messaging app – SexMessenger.com – promises to make hookups and one-night stands easier than ever before. Could it really be as good as advertised?

Like everything else, online dating is spreading to many new platforms. It’s no longer classified ads on Craigslist or secret chat rooms. Sophisticated sites and apps abound. But just as the internet has become more useful, it has also become more treacherous. How do you know the site you’re using respects your privacy? How do you know the app doesn’t have a virus? If you’re smart, you do your research.

How we reviewed Sex Messenger
In order to evaluate the best ways to meet women for dates or hookups you need to spend some time. In our review of Sex Messenger, we spent several weeks using it and doing everything we could to set up as many dates and hookups as possible.

If you’re really smart, you come to us. As you’ve come to expect from our compilation and rankings of the top hookup apps, this SexMessenger review will give you the detailed low down on the app.

SexMessenger Review – Does This Messenger Deliver?

When the internet first reached the public, seemingly a lifetime ago, it was a humble creation. A slow connection between two clunky devices. It went through the phone line (remember the sounds old modems made?) and took forever to download even the grainiest picture. The internet has come a long way since then.

Now, we interact with each other using handheld devices and we rarely use wires anymore, instead connecting through WiFi and satellites. The internet is no longer limited to the browser. We have apps – for everything from hailing a ride to choosing a restaurant – that can be used on our phones and computers. Everything has changed. Including sex.

This is how SexMessenger stacked up with Adult FriendFinder, which has been the easiest way we’ve found for guys to find hookups online:

Our Recommendation

We rarely, if ever give 1’s across the board when we review something. Usually, we can find some qualities that are decent or at least a few women actually using a site or app. In this case, we couldn’t find any redeeming qualities.

Really.

Adult FriendFinder is definitely a great option but Sex Messenger didn’t even put up a fight. A few things that really turned us off from it:

You have to download the app and it’s garbage

If your whole idea is an app that connects people the app should at least work right? There are thousands of apps that allow people to chat so that shouldn’t be so hard right?

Well, Sex Messenger can’t even get that right. This app didn’t even work most of the time and we didn’t exactly trust that there wasn’t anything we didn’t want in the files.

Nobody is using this thing

You can deal with a bad app if a lot of people are using it. There are plenty of popular apps that started off with a bad experience and improved.

With Sex Messenger, you have a bad app that nobody is using. It’s really that simple.

Do yourself a favor and spend your time on the legit sites that actually have a LOT of women using them and WORK!

If you’re a glutton for punishment and want to learn more here are the full details of our complete review of Sex Messenger. It doesn’t get any better!

Sex Messenger makes a good first impression

SexMessenger.com Review

SexMessenger.com is an impressive, sleekly designed website. Right from the first impression, it looks like the creation of a hip tech company. There is a cool, corporate sort of blue color scheme. The logo has a message bubble in it and has a sharp, high resolution look to it. There is a photo in the background of a man and a shirtless woman up against a wall, clearly a seductive scene. The photo looks professionally done, not like some of the other, trashy sites I have reviewed.

But as I began to scan through the site and read more, I became less impressed.

The real “message” is to try Adult FriendFinder instead

This is going to spoil the rest of our review of Sexmessenger.com but you don’t really need to read the rest. This is a site that looks good on the outside but doesn’t have anything worth spending time on once you get inside.

If you are really looking for a site that can get you laid your two options are Tinder and Adult FriendFinder.

We have tried them both extensively and Tinder is great if you are a good looking guy and want to date women in their 20’s. If that isn’t you exactly, Adult FriendFinder is probably better for you.

AFF has more users than Tinder (60,000,000) and do a much better job of helping guys who are not amazing looking find some actual success. It is also totally about finding hookups while Tinder is more of a dating app these days.

We suggest you try both and you can find Adult FriendFinders free trial here.

They want me to download something?

I realized once I was on the site that the service was actually a desktop application. This SexMessenger is like an old AOL instant messenger rather than a Facebook chat. It doesn’t work through your web browser.

I don’t know about you, but I am immediately skeptical about downloads. There are just way too many viruses, malware, and other scams out there to trust putting something on my hard drive. It’s one thing to make a purchase through the app store, which can verify the credentials of the software. It’s another thing completely to open something up on my desktop. And what can they do on an app that can’t be done through a browser anyway?

So, before actually downloading the app, I decided to do a ton of research.

Slick marketing video; a little too slick

Good products sell themselves. Word of mouth brings in new customers. People go to them because that’s where everyone else is. This doesn’t mean legit dating sites don’t advertise. But when they do advertise, they generally focus on the real statistics of their service: how many members there are, or how many people have met their loved ones on their site.

At the top of the site, where you download the app, SexMessenger.com has a video advertisement posted. Like the rest of their site, it’s well-made and sleek. The video’s voiceover wonders, “Do you struggle to talk to women . . . We know how frustrating that can be.” The voice continues to explain their solution: SexMessenger was “designed by guys, for guys.” Oh really? Then, how do they get so many women on their site? This is already beginning not to add up.

The video features women taking off their shirts, and mentions their adult videos. These are two things a legit dating site wouldn’t need to include in their advertisements. They say they are a “simplified way to meet and flirt with single women near you. Manage your contacts through this user-friendly software and receive daily notifications of newly single women in your area.” But they don’t mention how many members they actually have, nor do they feature any real people talking about their experience. It appears to be a ton of fluff.

Sex Messenger’s written testimonials are strange

Testimonials for sexmessenger.comIn order to write this review, I read through all of their supposed testimonials. A lot of them are your typical, very fake sounding sort of endorsements claiming implausible things like there are almost “too many women” on the site. Again, if the designers and target market for SexMessenger is men, why would there be so many women on there?

But some of their testimonials are just strange. One testimonial from “David” says that “Since I signed-up for SexMessenger I’m always singing ‘Welcome happiness… bye-bye loneliness’. What a life changer!” If that doesn’t sound fake, I don’t know what does. No guy has ever said to himself “Welcome happiness, bye-bye loneliness.” Nope, never happened. It reads like something written by a marketing agent in a foreign country.

The fine print tells another story

In their promotional video, SexMessenger.com brags they have tons of women and can help guys find hookups fast. But then when I went to the (grammatically suspect) fine print in the general terms of service, I found another story:

“The visuals (pictures) and information (place, name, age) representing members of the site displayed on ways of promoting have an illustrative purposes and do not necessarily represent the users of the messenger. They have by definition no contractual value.”

First of all: who wrote this? They need to take an English 101 course. Secondly, and more importantly, it appears they are saying the whole service is a complete scam. “Illustrative purposes” means that the women are not real, just “examples” of who could, maybe, possibly be found on the site. So, before even downloading this app, I know at least some of the profiles I will encounter will surely be fake.

Fine, I’ll download the Sex Messenger app

After reviewing everything else, I decided that in order to fully review SexMessenger, I would have to download the application. I selected the link and it downloaded the installer onto my desktop. After I opened the installer, my computer immediately alerted me that the app had been blocked by my anti-virus software. The program warned me that this type of file is usually full of bad software. I went online to double check this and I found the software listed as suspicious by McAfee antivirus. That was not a promising sign.

Some of the members from Sex MessengerBut still, I continued. I started the install, but when it finished, an application icon didn’t appear on my desktop. I couldn’t find the application anywhere on my computer. In fact, the only thing that happened is my web browser automatically popped open a new tab. The tab opened to a site called “YesMessenger.fr”, another, application-based dating program that wanted me to download an app. This one seemed even more sketchy. The “.fr” is a french domain, and the tagline was, I kid you not, “the N°1 messenger of the adult dating.”

Complete lack of transparency

This whole thing gave me a headache. There was a mystery ghost application on my desktop, and now I had this “Yes Messenger” to deal with. I decided to look for whatever company was behind these two sites. I did some Google sleuthing and examined their respective fine print (as much as I could find), but no information was to be found.

These sites are both shrouded in mystery, and that’s not a good thing. Legit dating sites will be transparent about who they are. They aren’t afraid to talk to you on the phone or answer your questions online. The scam dating sites, on the other hand, will be hard to reach. They don’t want to hear a bunch of complaints and they don’t want people asking for refunds.

Don’t go down the Sex Messenger rabbit hole

I hope this SexMessenger review has shown you just how worthless this site is. They want you to download an app, and then when you do, it doesn’t work. SexMessenger.com claims a ton of women use their service (even though it’s designed for men), but the fine print says the profiles aren’t real. They have a great design, yet their software is totally bogus. It’s a confusing trip, one not worth taking. My conclusion on this one: don’t expect this messenger to bring you anything good.
