Online dating is fantastic so long as you’re putting your time into the right type of website. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking to explore your sexuality, hookup with a stranger or find something long term. Whatever it is, there’s a dating site out there for you, and that’s fantastic. I went all-in for my Cheating Hookup review to see if it’s a site for anyone.
Because the trouble is, since online dating has become so popular, it’s also become a common area for spam. Too many websites pretend to be legit so you sign up for a paid membership only to find total disappointment.
If you end up in that situation, it can be disheartening, not to mention expensive. That’s why we take the time to review some of the more commonly-searched dating sites. We want to save you the time, money and potential of having your credit card compromised.
The less time you spend trying lackluster dating sites, the more time you can spend dating, right?
For the first few days, I was just a free member. I wanted to see if I’d be hit with a bunch of messages urging me to sign up. After that, I became a paid member. I reached out to 50 women with the intention of setting up a date with as many as I could.
We go to great lengths to give every site a fair chance to deliver value for both free and paid users
You won’t find a more detailed or in-depth review anywhere else. Nobody takes as much time and effort as we do to find the truth.
Let’s take a look at what I found.
This heading about sums up the remainder of the review but I’d still suggest reading on. The more you know what to look for in a dodgy website, the safer you’ll be in online dating. This website is a great example of what a low quality site looks like.
The outcome is obvious, but we’re still going to look at each individual factor with an open mind. Starting with a comparison against eHarmony, one of the most well-known and reputable dating sites around.

My recommendation is to stay well clear of this site. It’s certainly not trustworthy. I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up with a virus or two having used it for a month.
Compared to a top site that actually helps you find hookups, like Adult FriendFinder, it just doesn’t look like an option that’s worth your time.
The alarm bells started ringing not three seconds after I visited the site for the first time. I hadn’t even created an account yet and I was already dubious.
For starters, the banner text is, “We have thousands of members in your area ready to cheat and fuck”. All in caps. Below that are a bunch of “profile photos” that consist mostly of professional photos — presumably amateur porn stars. Not off to a great start.
This was making me weary for sure. . . but it gets better. Next to that very classy banner text are two buttons for you to choose your gender. I click “Male” and I’m immediately hit with a pop-under. (A pop-under is like a popup loads in a separate tab while keeping you on the original page).
The popunder? A cam site that plays a full screen, very explicit video of a naked camgirl urging you to join her. Generally, I like to include a bunch of screenshots in these reviews, but let’s just say she wasn’t shy. I’d have to blur the entire thing so we’ll just leave it to your imagination.
As though all of this wasn’t enough, after I created an account, I tried to log in again the next day. Just clicking the “Username” field gave me this same pop-under. You can’t even log in without being redirected to porn!
You can see where all of this is going, and by this point, I’d already seen just about enough. I can assure you this level of quality continued throughout the review. More pop-unders, more bad content, and more spam messages than I’ve ever seen on a “dating” website.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this site at all costs. The best word I could use to describe it is “cancer.”
If you’re actually looking to find a hookup give Adult FriendFinder’s free trial a shot. It’s the best option out there right now for most guys.
Despite my negative experience, I still want to give this site an honest chance. So, let’s hit the positives and negatives of Cheating Hookup.
It came as no surprise that none of the profiles on this site were real members. It’s all just spam designed get you into signing up for a paid account.
A plethora of women reach out to you saying they want casual sex right now. When you try to reply, you’re given pricing options — you have to be a paid member to talk to these ‘women’.
If we ignore this fact, the profiles are great. They’re simple and to the point and almost all the women on this site are very attractive with great photos.
In the real world though, let’s not ignore the fact that it’s all nonsense. For another example, check out the screenshot below. These are just some of the many “buddy requests” I received. All of these women really want to be my buddy. I mean, I know I’m in better shape these days, but who knew I was this popular?
Sadly, I can’t even give this site points for their design. Between the flashing, animated porn ads, the cluttered navigation and the tiny grid of profiles, it’s too much.
You just don’t know where to look. If it were a legit website, they’d be doing what they could to have you focus on the grid of profile photos. After all, that grid showcases the other members on the site.
Instead, CheatingHookup.com falls flat in this area too.
If vanity metrics are anything to go by, I’m a very popular guy on this website. Take a look at just how many women want to talk to me right now! Who needs Tinder when 130 local women are begging for my attention?
All of this is to say the messaging and chatting on Cheating Hookup is a pointless venture. The interface for it works just fine, albeit dated. It feels much like using an old email client but the messaging does work.
The thing that makes it pointless is you can’t have a real conversation with a bot. You ask them a question, they just respond telling you how badly they need you. Take this message from my good friend “swtaskanbe55”, for example.
Of the 100+ messages I received, 100% of them were pure spam. The best part is, you can’t even send messages or reply to any in your inbox without paying for a membership.
As with any low-quality dating site, you can’t do anything of value with a free membership. Since the entire model is driven toward having you pay, they lock everything down heavily.
While you have a free account, all you can do is look at other profiles and receive a bunch of messages. You can’t reply to anyone or reach out, you just start to accumulate spam in your inbox.
Obviously, this means you have zero chance of success as a free member on this site. Really though, you also have zero chance of success as a paid member too.
Cheating Hookup is a treasure trove of explicit ads like something from the late 90s. You’re constantly hit with animated gifs pedaling all kinds of things. A few extra inches, porn sites, camming sites and, my personal favorite, the game “Grand fuck auto”. Gold.
You’ll also be hit with regular popup messages. Chat messages wanting to chat with you right now and ‘Video chat requests’ which are obvious webcam models.
Beyond the popups, pop-unders, spam messages, spam chat and animated ads though, I barely noticed any advertisements!
At $29.95 per month, the cost is pretty steep compared to most dating sites. Even comparing that to other scam dating sites, it’s a bit much.
I’d have to imagine they survive on ad revenue more than anything else. If someone is willing to hand over an addition $30 every now and then, it’s a bonus.
In any case, you’re given full access to chat with other members, play “adult games”, watch porn etc. Still, if paying for videos is your thing there are better, safer websites out there to do that.
Note that if you do sign up, you have to actually call a unique phone number to have them cancel your subscription. Something else to be wary of if you’re considering testing it yourself.
Finally, we have a list of the most frequently asked questions about CheatingHookup.com. Hopefully I’ve covered everything you need to know in this review. If you do have other questions about this site we’re always happy to hear from you!
Cheating Hookup claims to be a site where you can meet cheating housewives and nymphos. However, upon reading their terms and conditions, it turns out they use “fantasy” profiles (or Online Cupids), which are essentially bots or employees posing as users.
CheatingHookup doesn’t state who owns the site, which is incredibly sketchy.
You can go to https://www.cheatinghookup.com/support/ if you have any concerns.
Yes, Cheating Hookup is a real site. However, its users are all “fantasy” profiles or “Online Cupids”, which are actually bots or employees posing as users.
No. From the very first click you’ll be hit with porn and things don’t improve from there. CheatingHookup is not a legit dating website by any definition.
As I mentioned earlier in the review, all discussion around the Cheating Hookup scam is entirely plausible.
I don’t suggest handing over your credit card information or even signing up for a free account.
While I can’t say our credit card was compromised (at least not yet), this site certainly doesn’t scream trustworthy.
While I didn’t encounter anything outright scammy while using Cheating Hookup, the site doesn’t strike me as safe at all.
There are countless alternatives to CheatingHookup out there that can bring actual dating success.
This is a topic in itself and one we already covered. Go ahead and check out our review of 2019’s best hookup apps and websites.

No, Cheating Hookup doesn’t have an app.

No, you need a paid Cheating Hookup membership to send messages.
